Think I might put £1 million on me playing for Hibs then give Rod a phone and arrange to share my winnings!!!

I used to think it was impossible, until I heard about a club called Hearts.

I remember a similar story about Chris Kirkland the goalkeeper, his dad put a bet on him playing for England the week he was born. He got something like 10,000/1 if my memory is right, and he was named in a number of squads only to pull out through injury.
I think he was even named to play once but was injured just before the game, his dad will have been gutted on two counts.

I'm gonna put a tenner on Shefki Kuqi making a start for Hibs. Should get similar odds I think.

My favourite bit of that version was that his Dad placed the bet "the week he was born"

I reckon Alex Miller must have done the same thing, betting that both his laddies would play for Hibs. I can't think of any other reason that they got a game.
