Karen O and Danger Mouse new album - Lux Prima. Some tracks similar to Air, others more like YYYs or the Unloved stuff. Could listen to Karen O all day.

Also loving the first 3 songs Vampire Weekend have released ahead of their new album in May. Look forward to them playing the Usher Hall later in the year

Not an album that is doing it for me, but was looking forward to listening to Sleepers new album when I saw it was out today. Sadly they should have just suick to touring again.

It’s grown on me after a few listens.

Their debut album isn’t out til next week but I’m getting right into Fontaines DC. Quite raw post punk - never a fan of this term but seems fitting here!

Think they have a 6 Music set available on the IPlayer and they were on SoccerAM at the weekend there. Their album Dogrel is out on April 11th

I’m a big fan of the debut album from Jade Bird. Downloaded it yesterday and I’ve not stopped listening to it.

New Catfish and the Bottlemen album came out this week. Had my reservations on what I'd heard and unfortunately gave-up before I finished my first listen.

I'll maybe try harder again soon. Do love a lot of their first 2 efforts but have a feeling this is where it ends for me and them.

I feel like its a bit of a grower. Was always going to be hard to top the previous efforts.

You may be right. Maybe my general bad morning mood at the time didn't help

And I do concede most albums take a few listens to get properly into but I just couldn't get hooked on almost any of the songs - I think love2all or whatever it is called is the only one I 'raised an eyebrow' at.

There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Anyone who loves newMusic - might want to check out “cream Floats”.

Innovative new business where signed and unsigned acts can share their music and people can pay to download their songs - the great thing is the artist gets the vast majority of the money - not a tiny percentage like some of the other models out there ..

It’s in its infancy but it’s an edinburgh innovative business, with some great quality music on it ...

Northlane's "Alien" is completely and utterly relentless.

Easy contender for best album of the year already.

I liked Ed sheerans collaboration album that he released. Appreciate not many on here would enjoy it. I'm not an Ed Sheeran by any stretch but I enjoyed none the less.
