He's on sportscene just now talking rubbish. Would also like to add the highlights package they put together was shocking for the Hibs game. Instead of listening to Shiels' p!sh we could have seen more of the game

Agree with you. He comes across as a good guy IMHO, but one who can get a bit carried away at times.
It was Rob Maclean and and that clown, Dodds, who were spouting about how Celtic should've had the game wrapped up and that they had so many players missing that I found annoying. Thought Shiels was quite complimentary of our contribution to the game.

Totally agree. I just find it dissapointing that they are choosing the option to play in Div 3 as opposed to potentially move down south or to another league. I think that shows a lack of ambition. However in a strange way i kind of understand.

My mum is good friends with Dean's wife's mum. Dean's wife is from a close family. They're lovely people too.

I can understand Dean's wife wanting to stay close to them.

The one thing he is though is a very good coach as he had Killie playing the best football of any team in the league last year. Some of their play was excellent. I think he likes to stir things up at times with his comments however at least he isnt afraid to make a comment and doesnt toe the party line.

...although I had turned over to watch Father Ted after they finished talkng about the games and must have missed this bit. Don't think it should have been a surprise though, everyone knew why they were signing for them. Kenny has also already spoke about this in an interview with one of the papers just after Dean joined them.
