I see you are top of the waiver order again being last in the league....

At the end of last week I had position 2, so I saved using it hoping to get a good pick up this week. Now I see that the order gets re-calculated based on league position each week..... Grr

Ah well, I suppose it is better to be second in the league after two weeks than last! Although I have such a poor performing team that I could be bad for weeks because I can't pick up any decent waivers but not dropping down the league quickly due to my two lucky wins.
Excellent. Danny Amendola shall be joining me soon then

First Matthews now Amendola Not that I expect those stats again but he's worth a look at if Bradford's going to be aiming that many shots towards him.

Can't believe I'm at 0-2 with the two pretty decent scores I've had Someone's going to pay this weekend if Foster and MJD go off!

    Aye, undoubtedly me!

I'm 0-2 with some serious failures to turn up. Hopefully Matthews (who is set to play) and Amendola add some well needed offense to my seriously misfiring team!

As both you and DH can testify, I need to have God himself on my team - never mind Danny Amendola

Looks like whoever is second in the waiver wire might get their pick rather than me getting Amendola actually.

I had also submitted a request for Michael Crabtree, which has come through

This game is tough! I guess it's going to take at least one season to get the hang of it. For example, I have two players on the bench who are injured (Fred Jackson and Aaron Hernandez). Both players have great value when fit so I don't want to drop them but they are also taking up two spots which severely limits what other players I can pick up. I did some research on Fred Jackson and the majority of people have said that dropping Fred is a "newbie" error and that he will be back and should reclaim his spot form Spiller (not everyone agrees, obviously). So I am left wondering if I should drop him and try for another RB (of which there aren't that many options), maybe pickup another player to strengthen other positions. Argh. So many decisions to make.

I toyed with Scott Chandler as I don't like either of my tight ends that much at all but I've managed to get Amendola by the looks of it.

I wish the flex position was also open to TEs, rather than just RBs or WRs. Both of my TEs have scored well in weeks 1 and 2, but I don't benefit from them counting towards my overall score, as I can only play 1!

Were you drunk when you proposed the first of those two trades???

I'll be willing to take Hernandez off your hands if you're willing to do a trade, I have decent enough (and healthy) wide receivers sitting on my bench at the moment who could possibly help you?

Hernandez is a TE though, so the receivers you have won't help him

Martellus Bennet is a very able replacement for Hernandez in fantasy terms

Nope. But if you don't propose, you don't get. :) I'm hoping that Bradford will be up to the task though.

I'm sticking with Aaron. I have two injured players on my bench (Hernandez and Jackson) and Hernandez is the one I am most likely sticking with.

I think I am going to be OK with Vick and Bradford but Manning still has value....just not sure if I am as set on a QB as I was before. If anyone is in the market for another QB (like someone who only has ONE so far) let me know if you are interested in trading. Make me an offer.

I know he is a tight end just thought he was after healthy bodies with fantasy value

I'm still not 100% sure about tactics. I was told not to drop Peyton Manning but try to trade him because of his value. But what if nobody wants him? Something is only as valuable as how much people will pay. I guess it doesn't hurt to hold him for a little while longer to see if he can get over last week's horrible game, but that seems unlikely versus Houston (although their D hasn't been against formidable opponents yet).

Where is the king of the trash talk this week? Hiding after being battered by the mighty Haymakers Patriots I imagine...

And he's on for another hiding this week! ;)

I see that McCoy is projected to score over 35 fantasy points this week. I dunno about that, the Cardinals D seemed pretty good to me last week. We shall see.

If Hakeem Nicks were to walk in front of me in Dundee today, I'd accelerate and flatten him

Declared inactive and didn't play in the Giants' 36-7 rout of Carolina.

I sent that trade a couple of days ago. I actually sent you a couple and you rejected one. I canceled the other one. I was proposing Manning for Big Ben but I think I need to try and bolster other areas like RB.

Sore one. Looks like a good acquisition until Bradshaw (?) is fit for the Giants again.
