    Squad Numbers?

Anyone know if these numbers - http://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/page/Pl...,10290,00.html - are confirmed for season 2012/13 or whether this is last year's list?

That is last year's list, McPake is now number 6 but on the website it still says 15

Let's hope Stanton is as half as good as his namesake and he can end up wearing #4
That would be amazing to see and I'm sure it would be a money spinner too...!

Can't see them giving him No 4 though, too much pressure on young shoulders

If we bring in another striker I doubt Sparky will get number 9, also is Galbraith not number 11? Think Cairney is more likely to get number 12 or 15

Does Sparky's twitter name not reference the number 28? It might be a significant number to him and he may want to keep it. Not sure I see him as a number 9 striker TBH, more of a 7, 10 or 11 type player if you know what I mean.

I agree, what you mean is he's not a down the middle No9, more a wide or a just off the front player

Some players like the number given at their first professional club, quite a common thing in US sports like baseball and US football, also birthdays etc.

    Maybury 18
    Cairney 11
    Stanton is 26
Griffiths has hinted on twitter he is after 9 as that's his number
    Caldwell 29

Wotherspoon will revert back to 7 as it was Kerr wearing that number in training. That is unless Pat brings in another midfielder.

Phoned up the club shop yesterday. Bottom line - they don't know yet and don't know when it will be confirmed. They hope it will be after this weekend's friendly.
