I'd much rather we spent the wages of 2 or 3 of these guys who haven't been near squads to get even 1 who will be.

As long as it is a wage off the bill for a substandard player then I am happy, hopefully we can replace him with a better quality find from somewhere.

I guess we're still taking a hit for a portion of his wages but at least he won't be able to play against us. No "returns to haunt" goals or broken bones!

A bleeping waste of 100k and wages that we gave him and will still keep paying half his wage to play at Ross County. Joke.

I'm far from bothered that he's leaving but for his performances on the park I thought he deserved more of a chance last season considering how bad our midfield was.
He was no pirlo though so if he had a bad attitude in training which is what seems to be suggested then good riddance.

Nah, he would still be tom kite.
A waste of 100k and at the time he wasn't even getting a game for Ross County.

Judging by the fact that we can get (and reportedly already have) McPake for the same price just underlines the ludicrous deal that brought Scott to ER was.

Jimmy Scott
Can anyone see Scott doing well at county and actually come back to hibs and get a place in the 1st team? I can. I hope he does well and comes back with a point to prove. Would you as hibs fans give him the chance to change your mind? I remember reading on here just after he signed that he picked up a young hibs fan and gave him a lift home. Was excited about playing for hibs and wanted to become a fan fav. It's funny how one or two training ground bust ups have changed everyone's views on him.

Doesnt strike me as the sort of move thats aimed at getting him some games before coming back to Hibs. It will reduce the wage bill, remove a player thats been involved in a couple of incidents and also hopefully allow him to play some football (its not great having a player sitting on the bench and never getting on).

No chance, nothing against Jimmy Scott, if he had the ability I couldn't care less about traing ground bust ups etc but sadly he doesn't have the ability that we require.

He did show glimpses of a player but had no decent run. I don't think he's part of PF's over all plan so is away to reduce the wage bill and eventually move on without Hibs having to pay him off

The only way Scott will be back at Hibs is if he's still in contract at the end of a loan period and has to return. It's not like he's a laddie being farmed out to see if he can improve with experience. Sadly, he just isn't good enough.

He's an awful football player..

Didn't rate him at County, never understood why we signed him in the first place and any chance he has had he has shown no signs of showing anything.
As far as I'm concerned he is taking up a wage I would much rather see spent on another player. Plus, him and Thornhill are on this months Hibs calendar and it's not the prettiest sight to wake up to.

While he gives you a bit of energy in midfield, Scott is NOT a natural footballer from what I have seen - barely ever found a Hibs player with a pass - not SPL class I'm afraid.
