Can anyone recommend any (central) pubs for the game on tuesday?
Getting a seat and decent food would be a bonus.

Footlights or The Chanter on Bread Street have plenty screens, decent enough pub scran too.

The banter in the Corstorphine Inn was quite good for the Sweden game according to my laddie, helped by a group of Geordies complete with Toon shirts.
Just realised you want somewhere central.

Shakespears on Lothian Road is normally pretty decent for the football, plenty of big screens an can ge a scran and seat if you get there early enough.

Me and another two are headed to the chanter for the game. Should be a good match England the better team but you never know how much the fans will effect the Ukrainians

Shakespeare's on Lothian Road is usually good for football, so is the Black Bull on the Grassmarket and also Footlights and Chanter which are on Bread Street. These are primarily sports bars and have decent food.

I ended up watching in Standing Order with a couple of guys from Leeds.
Very pro English crowd in, good atmosphere and by the end of the night I was right into the game.

I picked up a 'Spoons guide last week and found an advert for a "Summer of Sport" in their pubs. The only thing is, they either tend not to show sports or, show some, but, without any sound so its a little misleading.
