    Another Scottish Legend Hibs Fan

Okay, we know Jim Baxter was a Hibby.
In the Scotsman today in an article about Dundee's League winning side, it says Alan Gilzean was a Hibby.
    Well, there ye go.

One of the most under rated players in Scottish football history. Bizarre given the Fletcher thread below it snooky, but SF and Gilzean are/were frighteningly similar. Both in link up forward play and finishing. Superb positional play, always developed good partnerships.

Yeah, there was an article about Alan Gilzean in the Scotsman a few months ago when he spoke of his liking for the Hibs in his younger years. He had signed provisional forms with Dundee but they hadn't registered him as a player so he was free to sign for Hibs when they approached him ... but his mother insisted he keep his word to the Dens Park club.
    Mothers eh!!!
