Maybe someone who has seen the Scottish cup will be able to confirm, but I think the silverware could be adorned with "Hibernians" for our previous victories? If so, and considering through time we have lost the "s" somewhere down the line, if we were to win on the 19th would we be the only club to have two different names engraved on the cup?

The 1887 engraving just says 'Hibernian Football Club' so I doubt the 1902 win added an 's'

We were called "Hibernians" in 1887 but "Hibernian" (no 's') in 1902. I presume that these are both on the cup already.

We've never been called Hibernians except in early press reports.

Hearts aren't called Hearts either.

May as well get the thing engraved now. They can stick the green and white ribbons on it while they're at it.

We have to win it this time round.
They might run out of space on the cup before we get to another final!

It doesn't matter if we win it or not. We'll support Hibs for ever and ever and ever and ever.

THEY have to win it this time round...but it will be a sad ending for them
