    Engraving the Cup

    Maybe someone who has seen the Scottish cup will be able to confirm, but I think the silverware could be adorned with "Hibernians" for our previous victories? If so, and considering through time we have lost the "s" somewhere down the line, if we were to win on the 19th would we be the only club to have two different names engraved on the cup?

    We were called "Hibernians" in 1887 but "Hibernian" (no 's') in 1902. I presume that these are both on the cup already.

    Hibernian FC.

    Disagree mate. Rangers and Hearts will be weak next season and we will have the ST money to play with as well as the final money. Maybe even European cash too. Other teams are also feeling the pinch regarding their previous spending and will be cutting their cloth. Plus, Pat will build for next season and improvements will come if he's given time.

    Far from seeing this as a last chance I see this as a new beginning and new era...win or lose!

    THEY have to win it this time round...but it will be a sad ending for them
