    180 minutes of football

Doesn't sound much - 180 minutes is all that stands between us and the Scottish cup. Fantastic result today, Stack was great - keep our concentration for two games more and this will be our year.

So, so, so proud to be a Hibee at times like this.

I am almost 30 and have come to accept I will never see Hibs win the Scottish Cup, my grandad was 80 when he died and he never saw them win it.

It has been that long since we won it, I will just enjoy getting a trip or two to hampden which really brightens up an otherwise dire season, and not even contemplate winning it (even although I have told my wife if we do win it I won't be home for at least 3 days).

Surely he would still want us to win the bloody thing, even if he can't make it.

I'm sure that's the case but he is hurting at the thought of not being there and seeing it.

A bit over confident, was only Ayr we beat lol! Seriously though, don't see any reason why we cant beat any of those teams at hampden on our day. Will be a very nerve wracking encounter especially if its hearts but bring it on, will be a fantastic occasion.

Could even only be 90 minutes away from a possible European spot, depending on other finalists

    Two.

Semi-finals go straight to penalties now, no replays.

I'm not even thinking about the prospect of winning it yet. Hopefully a good day in the semi-final then the dream begins!

Possible other semi finalists .... Dundee Utd, Celtic, St Mirren, Aberdeen, Motherwell, the Yams.

We have improved a bit over the last few weeks, but we would be underdogs against 4 of those teams and evens against the other two. If we have any chance of winning the cup a hell of a lot of things have to go our way on and off the pitch.

Still ... Where theres life theres hope !!!

Schoolboy error Andy. When (not if ) we make the final get the dates shifted.

Cup competitions are fundamentally anarchic. Who knows what will happen.

Should this be our year? Definitely not. We are not good enough.

Will it be our year? Perhaps.

Clearly Celtic are the best side in the Cup and are hot favs but over 90 mins anything could happen and of the others I respect @well etc but certainly do not fear them.

    Go Hibbies.

Not getting carried away - this is Hibs

But it'd just be like us one of the crappest seasons dice with relegation and win the blummin thing even the famous five couldn't deliver.

So that's why I stuck a tenner on at 20-1 after the transfer window slammed shut

Some coincidences when we won the CIS cup my first son was born 5 days before and were expecting number 2 in august (at least if we make it I'll not be stuck at home watching it with a bottle of miller and the mother in law).
