    Scottish Football League XI

    Does anyone on here remember the game they played against Scotland to celebrate the centenery of the league ?

    I think it was circa 1990. but I'm not sure

    Was this a Scots players 11 v foreigners. If so, think was 1-0 to the non-Scots. Someone like Gilhaus of Aberdeen scored the winner IIRC.

    Think it was the a Scottish league select v the Scot's plying there trades outwith scotland, there's a thread on the tartan army forum about this. the tops we're honking seen some online, look like wales and england tops

    Not that it matters particularly but Gilhaus was one of the few openly gay footballers without ever being open about it if that makes sense
