Yep happens all the time the team that should get the advantage don't get it. See numerous Derbies over the years surprisingly one sided though in terms of who gets the advantage they shouldn't.

I've taken a lifetime of sectarian bigotry from Rangers fans, in spite of the fact that I'm a protestant whose grandads were both Rangers fans themselves.

It's impossible not to reflect back the hatred they have rained on me from pretty much the first moment I got into football, from playground to present day.

If they blow it from here, it will be one of my favourite things in football, ever.

Celtic imploding has been funny and enjoyable but it doesn't even register on the scale of how great it would be if Rangers blew it.

That game the other night was one of my favourite non-Hibs or Scotland games ever, mainly from the "Hibs having a better chance of winning the cup" perspective but also from the one of Sevconian pain - of which there hasn't been nearly enough in recent months.

For me its a bit like the Hilary Clinton v Donald Trump election. I was no fan of either and I thought it would be quite funny to see Hilary lose. I had forgotten how truly awful a President Trump would be and would def have supported HC with hindsight.

Somebody posted a link the other night. Its a new “retro” shirt they launched a few months back. They said they’d be wearing it in selected games. Obviously hoping it would be a money spinner and got its first pre-Christmas outing on Wednesday night. I suspect we won’t be seeing it again. They’ll be flying off the shelves this week 😂

The huns will finally wipe their deficit in 18 months when they will have amassed around £100m worth of debt in just 10 years (they have basically overspent more than our whole turnover each and every year of their existence!!). I would guess that this would include them qualifying for the group stages of the CL next season and winning the league again next season for auto qualification into the group stages. There really is no hope for any other teams outside the ugly sisters to ever win the league in Scotland again. If a team can amass £100m worth of losses to win one league title then there is no hope. I also find it amazing that a team that cost £1 with assets sold for £5m just 9 years ago get 'investment' of this level.

Guess we just have to cross fingers and hope that they fall at the first CL hurdle next year - think they would still get into EL group stages but that's worth a lot less.
