If there true, and I'm reading it right, sports direct have first option on all of the profitable elements of huns merchandising that they want, in perpetuity?

Wow, what a deal for sports direct. I know they have some dodgy business practices, but I can't help but love them at the moment!

What kind of astute businessman signs up to that deal? Looks like they signed a deal without reading it.

What a desperately poor article from a supposedly serious newspaper. Full of questionable assertions to sugar the pill for the bad news at the end of the article which is turn in superficial and devoid of analysis.

One that is about to lose a court case that would have cost them millions of pounds? King basically took an out of court settlement for £3m which doesn’t even get rid of Ashley. And the Sevconians rejoiced.

If their merchandise is worth even half that of Celtic it's about £8M per year.

That’s a sales figure. Celtic’s profit from merchandising was less than £5m.

Not until this case is settled and even then it looks like it will be with Sports Direct. Forever.

Diversionary tactics. Everyone can see that. The Lying King is a busted flush, and is trying to keep the orcs onside.

Trouble for Sevco is that they are fighting legal and financial issues with PR. That is not going to work, even in the medium term.

They are so used to being buttered up in the press that they don’t realise that their troubles are in the real world where the people they are dealing with don’t give a tuppenny toss about them.Meanwhile they are spending money like there’s no tomorrow, maybe there won’t be.

Considering the number of conflicted Rangers leaning people who have held positions in the SFA and SPFL lately, that's got to be a joke.

Lol. The hun speaking about transparency, governance and integrity which they ignore at every opportunity. Is this the early leader in the statement league?

Beat me to it. The frontrunners are off and away before some teams return to training. "It's good to get off to a decent start" said Mason Oranjeboom the Rangers new Head of Equalities. "These bead rattlers need to be reminded whorapeepul ur" Chairman in Exile DC King is understood to have told the Press - "do not look behind the curtain, ignore that man behind the curtain! They don't know who they are dealing with, trying to undermine me with laws and contracts..."

But when everything is going pear-shaped, they play the victim card and that pulls all the orcs into line.

To be fair MacLennan is not the brightest tool in the box and has been emptied from a few high flying places. He should never have been given the post but he was at a loose end.
