Season ticket money is in. It's like back in the day when people got their wage packets at the end of the week and would spend a big chunk of it on Fri/Sat night then struggle through 'til the next one
They’ll also be paying in instalments and will probably try to punt him before the last payment.

God forbid the dark day that would dawn if those s*um ever won the league but if they did I predict the first GFA statement will be -

"We're absolutely shocked - we had no idea whatsoever they'd run up that amount of debt !"

    - when the Hun declares admin/bankruptcy immediately upon confirmation the title's been 'won' !
I think they will invest heavily to stop sellik winning the ten in a row, then go tits up, I mean, whats the SPFL or SFA going to do about it, relegate them ?

Wouldn't mind in the least if they won it and then died again as a result. Don't think they'd get another bite at the cherry

Unfortunately, much as I'd love it, they won't die again unless they're even thicker than anyone thinks possible and shaft the taxman again.
Long as you avoid that you can shaft everybody else and escape on a CVA no?

I don't think it would be easy for them to rise a second time.

Administration, not liquidation would still probably lead to them losing their players, manager etc.

They survived the last time by maintaining their support via a common sense of grievance. They'd be lucky to play in front of 3 men and a dog if anything of the sort happened again.

    Which I hope will.

Much as I would love if it happened, I can't see them going bust again.

I don’t think any ones suggesting this at the moment, not that I’ve read anyway
Can see them selling a few players in the next few weeks as well

There was some talk along these lines in some of the more recent comments on this thread, but I don't think they were entirely serious, just kind of wishful thinking.

The tax man will give you a bit of time but if you mess the VAT man he will close you down tomorrow.

    I'm good at that

They’ll keep going as long as they are paying their tax bills and there are folk with deep enough pockets willing to keep lending them money.

They didn’t just suddenly implode last time around, they were burning cash they didn’t have for a long time, and may well have carried on doing without Whyte popping up and actively not paying tax etc.

As it stands, they don’t appear to be at any imminent risk of doom. I’d assume they’ll be paying VAT quarterly, maybe even monthly, given their previous predicament, as long as they keep that up, and the director loans keep coming, they’ll carry on.

I'm no legal expert, but my reading of paragraph 93 in that picture leads me to think that Elite may have a case for damages against Rangers. I haven't seen any discussion of this yet.

    Gloating from Phil https://philmacgiollabhain.ie/2019/0...ation-feeling/

Please note my comments re Elite are very much a side issue, if they are indeed an issue at all.
The main news from today's judgement is that Sports Direct lost "many millions of pounds" and that the court did not limit the amount that Rangers are due them.

Surely the Judge will agree on a payment plan for them, surely they’ll not have to pay it in 28 days!
