Just had an email from sports direct about the sevco new strips.. it did me a favour as actually got round to unsubscribing to sports direct but it was rather strange in that the strips were described as that of the ‘Rangers football club Ltd.’ The inclusion of a company name and not the name of the team seems downright weird as is one of the players saluting (are they trying to muscle into the hearts role of world war winners )

It also occurs that the strip maker risks being known evermore as Chavstore and that maybe the limited refers to a lack of something else.

    Jenners too.

I last went in there last summer - what a sad fall from grace for what was once an iconic department store.

Ashley does not own the Jenner’s building.

Yeah, but it could end up a unit at Edinburgh airport or an online operation.

It's a case that could have been brought a while back. I think they've held off until the D&P actions against Police Scotland were dealt with.

On the face of it, they have a good case. There's no obvious commercial reason why the club was sold so cheaply.

So winnable. But no impact on the latest incarnation of The Rangers.

    None at all.

But... if it's won, along with the £25m that was recovered from Oldco's lawyers, it will be some result. And, as a bonus, it will increase the sense of grievance (albeit misplaced) that Oldco didn't need to be liquidated 😂

BDO have a brass neck highlighting the mismanagement of an administration process.

Bryan Jackson was with BDO when he was in charge of HoMFC’s administration and omitted to have a non- connected creditor vote which would have gone against the CVA being granted.

I had always just assumed clubs/manufacturers could charge what they want. How does price fixing affect competition when it's football shirts? You're not going to buy a rangers top instead of a hibs top because it's cheaper?

As Hibs only have one retail outlet, wouldn't that also be classified as price fixing?

    Sounds nonsense to me

Rangers can sell the strip for what they want but they can’t dictate to retailers what they sell it for. Likewise retailers can’t agree prices with each other. The penalties for it can be very high.

    Decent explanation here.

As I sell unique items that nobody else does I can also fix price at what I think is reasonable.

Is that why they were wearing non-branded 1970s style strips tonight? Castore nowhere to be seen.

They’ve gone public that they need to sell players next summer, so it feels like all or nothing this season.
