    Hibs 19s

just watched the hibs under 19s game, they played more passing and moving than hibs kept the ball really well, and most of all won 3-0, they seem to be making more use of the facilities than the top team!!

ano, a dont see why we bring the young players up!! look at when hibs were in a relagtion battle and we brought the likes of scott brown, thomson, fletcher up they got us out of the mess, a really do think the likes of caldwell and stanton should come up and get a chance better than the mob we have now!!
they way the youth team pass the ball about is unreal compaired to the pish a pay 140 quid for every season and a can go see them for free or 3 to 4 quid!

Maybe we should play them instead of the current lot.

Taggart, Smith, Hanlon, Wotherspoon, Booth and a few others have had their chances, some out of the all singing and dancing double winning side.

Yet we are 2nd bottom of the league. Perhaps that standard is not as good as some folk think?

Taggart had two starts and one sub appearance last season - none so far this season, as he was out on loan until recently.

Smith has appeared for the club only once, as a half-time sub in an early LC fixture this season. He's also been out on loan.

So they haven't all 'had their chances'. This has not so far been the type of season when you chuck youngsters in at the deep end.

tell you what they would fight and put there necks on the line more than the current lot at ER and thats the players a want in the hibs shirt!!
too many hibs players have a attitude and are to big for there boots a think.the 19s squad and some a very little hand full of the hibs team now would be a good move for hibs

Exactly. The call goes out for the young guys to step up to the top team but hell mend them if they make a mistake.
    Every gimmick hungry yob,
Digging gold from rock and roll
Grabs the mic to tell us,
    He'll die before he's sold.

Perhaps if we could just pick those kids with experience and show leadership qualities, we'd do better?

The U19s probably wouldn't have the nerve to come straight into a relegation battle, and nor should they be asked to. Apart from O'Connor, all the other youngsters were brought in when Hibs were poor but never in any danger. Sure as hell not the case now.
