Just a few of the names we COULD have signed, any of whom would have given the fans a boost and ALL I would suggest have the attitude we need. Instead we're scrabbling about the bargain bucket with trialists or anyone previously with LoI, apart from McCourt the 1 ex LoI player I would have.

Swanson? Why on earth would he come here/ Is he not a tad injury prone? I know he is a hibby but still..

Stevenson would never come either and we cant afford to pay for Sutton so he wont be coming.

Swanson is a well known Hibby that's why. Sutton and/or Stevenson would probably have come if we paid the money, christ not much point in having BB around otherwise??

I know things are bad but this desire to bring in any Yam players in smacks of desperation!!!

How do you know we COULD sign them? The two from Hearts will be bigger wages at present. Add to that does the manager rate them?

Seriously though, not a clue, but him being at Hearts and having been signed from another SPL club, one would assume it's the sort of daft wages the likes of Barr got to lure them in.

David Obua, Andrew Driver and Zaliukas are the highest paid at Tynecastle. £7.5K a week, £8K a week and £7K a week respectively I believe.

I've heard £5k, sure I read £4k. The poster I quoted said his wages are 'insane'.

McPake and Soares have had a single game and already we are getting this garbage. At least give them some time to prove they can play, although championship and EPL experience is ahrdly bargain basement.

Don't think any of them would sort the real problem which is our defence....

Oh yeah, 7 appearances back in 2008 then a series of loans, hardly inspiring. Previous transfer fees are, IMHO, no basis for how good or not a player will be. Personally I'd rather have proven SPL where you know what you're getting, unfortunately we don't appear to be able to attract from other SPL teams. Lets be honest our record in loans is not great.

Thats right ignore the 149 appearances in the championship that led to a move to the EPL...just twist the stats to suit the agenda that the guy is a waste of space before he has had the chance to prove himself at ER.

Surely a previous transfer fee defines how highly rated the player is in the game?
