    The Task in Hand

Using one word and one word only describe the size/nature of the task Pat Fenlon and the football management team have to turn us around.

    My word is - monumental.

"At the end of the day, we all aspire to bigger things in our lives but one thing I can truly say from my heart is if I never kick a ball for one of these bigger clubs I would be delighted to stay with Hibs for the rest of my career. That's how highly I regard this club." Ivan Sproule

Have the players do the simple things well - Impossible with this squad
Hold on to the ball, dont hoof it - Impossible with this squad
Have the players believe in themselves - Impossible with this squad
Win a game at home - Unlikely with this squad
Don't concede from set plays - Impossible with this squad
Maybe finish top 6 - Impossible with this squad
Challange for cups = HEE HEE
Play attacking entertaing football - NO CHANCE

If we can achieve any of the above you may get - Stopping negativity on .net

    So do I.
As soon as there is something to be positive about I will be right there.
We were beat by a BANG AVERAGE Rangers team in a very very poor game totally bereft of quality.
Even Griffiths miss highlighted the lack of quality Ivan hits a poor cross ex jambo misses the ball and lee passes back to the keeper, very poor.
If you want to shout up that today good luck.

One step at a time, if you can't take even one positive from todays game that was plain for all that weren't wearing their negativity blinkers to see then you're exactly what I am talking about and have proved my point exactly!

Yes there were positives. But ONLY due to the fact we have fallen SO low there really is no where left to go other than up or Div 1.

Having said that on current form (including today) no goals no points for the Umpteenth time at Home Div 1 is looking a strong possibility and no better than 2/1 chance.

Not fenlons fault but the squad is simply very very poor

The same 'bang average' Rangers team that have the best defence/most points in the league?

I honestly believe that, with the exception of Celtic, we have the most negative, critical fans in the SPL.

as you say we have fallen so low and there is two ways to go, however after today I firmly believe we will pick up points. I also note that people are quick to comment on how bad Rangers are yet the truth is that today they couldn't play as you would expect because we were organised as a unit and didn't allow them to create. Well for most of the time

Have a look at Kickback or Aberdeen sites you may change your mind.

As for Hibs fans being too critical remind me -

how many Home wins have we had this year?
what is our derby record like? (Hearts have won more at ER than Hibs FFS)
when did we last win the Scottish Cup?
how many Million plus players have we lost without them being replaced?

I would say we have PLENTY to be negative about but overall we are not too bad.
