    EURO 2012 Draw

Presumably it's on TV somewhere tomorrow given that the eventual winners, England, are involved?

1645 GMT, BBC Two/online, according to their website. The draw's supposed to start at 6pm European time, but who knows?

I might watch from 11am anyway to build up the excitement

Pot 1 looks keek. They'll all be praying for Poland and Ukraine.

Is it really fair that the co-hosts are in Pot 1 when they're the two lowest-ranked sides in the tournament?

IMO hosts should be in whichever pot they would be in if they weren't hosting; they've already had the benefit of not having to qualify and have home advantage to boot.

Yes, because it gives the best chance of keeping national interest in the Tourny if they qualify.

National interest is hardly relevant to the question of fairness. Germany and Italy would have a right to feel aggrieved at potentially facing Spain or Holland whilst two weaker nations enjoy an easier draw.

Should UEFA go the whole hog and give the hosts dubious refereeing decisions for the same reason, like FIFA did in '34 and '02?

It might not be completely fair but everyone knew the rules, it's already unfair to see the playoffs to ensure the big countries make it. Let the small ones have there fun, they are hosting after all.

    Is that not 4 X 4/1 bets (624/1)?

    Is it not 3 x 3/1 bets? (64/1 then).

    Still not good value though.

Hoping Scotland ever qualify for finals is becoming almost as tiresome as the Scottish Cup for hibs......not quite, but getting there - as time goes on, it seems less and less likely.

and for the next world cup, we have a negative twonk in charge, so where's the 2016 Euros' ?....our next chance to qualify...

France it is and 24 teams will be involved in the groups stages - so maybe a chance for Scotland??
