A couple of weeks ago, if someone had told me that we'd be going for him over Michael O'Neill, I would have been very upset - as it is, and knowing what we do about him, I am very happy with his appointment.
He seems exactly the kind of character that we need and I very much like what he has stated about the mindset of the players.
Welcome Pat

25-11-2011 08:11 AM #11"But in order to move Hibernian forward there will need to be a lot of hard work and a clear change in mindset shown collectively by the team. The primary goal is to provide winning football to the Hibernian supporters, who have gone through some hard times recently.
But we will also try to entertain our fans in the process and put a smile on their faces.

I'm happy with this.
Had a bad feeling about another ex-player managing so Michael O'Neil was a no no for me.
Looking forward to seeing what Pat can do!

Welcome Pat and good luck.
(Don't know much about the guy but the fact that we've appointed a "manager" this time is a positive)

About time too, it was starting to drag a bit. Can't complain too much just hope the board have got the right man this time round. Welcome to Hibs Pat! Time for the Hibees faithful to get right behind the new manager and give him 100% support.
