Love their coverage (especially seeing as its a freebie for me), Serie A, Bundesliga, SPL, odd English and Dutch league games etc. But how embarrassing is it. Camera's in the changing rooms, grabbing players for interviews during their warm-ups, interviews with managers at half-time and even worse interviews with managers during the game!
Cringefest at times. Very 'Yanky'.

I think they had to add something "quirky" to the coverage to make it interesting...and ESPN probably knew scottish fitba representitives would bend over an take any suggestion ESPN came up with to ensure there was a deal.....with "just" the football, there's not a lot to offer, is there ?

I'm pretty split on their coverage. Whilst it is a bit cringy, American style sports programmes are really entertaining. They know how to give a match a bit of build up.

Would love SPL on ESPN solely. Seem to give better coverage. On Sky we are merely Scottish fitba, unworthy of a big pre game coverage.
