Early KO between Bate Borisov and AC Milan:

Bate 0-1 AC Milan - Ibrahimovic

Cizovski is offski against Barca and Messi scores with the pen 1-0 Barca

Messi scores his 2nd of the night 2-0 Barca

That is his 200th & 201st goals for Barca in (I think) 260 appearances and he is only 24.

Just to close the above point off, he ended up with another one, to complete the hat-trick, taking him to 202 for 286. Staggering.

    More games on tonight:

    Villareal vs Man City (ITV1 - 7:30pm)
Man Utd vs FC Galati (SS2 - 7:30pm)
    Lyon vs Real Madrid (SS4 - 7:30pm)

All other games are on SS4 from 7:30pm via the red button:

    Ajax vs Dinamo Zagreb
    Bayern Munich vs Napoli
    Benfica vs Basel
    Inter vs Lille
    Trabzonspor vs CSKA Moscow

Will only be watching up til 9pm though, as Frozen Planet is back on BBC 1

Agreed. Attenborough pushes football off the viewing schedules in the Bollah house. Unmissable viewing.

Nice to see the "Theatre of Dreams" packed to the rafters - evidently a drive too far from London on a midweek night, for a game against European minnows.

Michael Owen subbed off after 10 minutes - seems to be an injury, but he walked off, so not a serious one by the looks of it.

Every single other club (and I mean EVERY single other club) is fair game when their fans fail to pack out a stadium for a home game, especially in such a lucrative competition - why should United be exempt? I agree, the general wave of anti-United sentiment is tiresome, but it's quite unusual not to see Old Trafford full!

    Bayern 2-0 Napoli (Gomez AGAIN)
    Ajax 1-0 Dinamo Zagreb
    Inter 1-0 Lille

Ronaldo scores again for Madrid 1 up in Lyon.

His scoring record for RM is immense.

Leeds 2 down at home to Blackpool and down to 10 men

Was checking Ronaldo's stats, this is his 131st start for RM and his 121st goal, a phenomenal record.

That City goal was real quality. Wondered what Martin of Neil and Roy Keane were doing there but they must have been giving Villarreal some tips on hounding refs.
