    Russell Latapy

A source has told me Russell has signed a short term deal untill January for Edinburgh City FC and will make his debut in the Scottish cup 2nd round tie against Irvine Meadow at Meadowbank on Saturday.

Would simply not fit into the current side. Think about flair, attacking football and a winning attitude and could you really see a place for him at ER

Nope. Otto Pfister is. Russell was manager between April 08 and end of Jan 11.

I don't hate Russell Latapy. But have him back? To play top flight football? He's 43!!

See also the "Dean Shiels" thread for a withering critique on ex-player suggestions and the idea of "moving on"...

Sad times ahead when fans want to go and see an ex player play in a junior match rather than go at watch Hibs first team.

"Today Green revealed how that early morning chat in a George Street night club had helped his club pull off a major coup in persuading Latapy to pull on his boots once again."
