    Sect43

As some know we have started a group by the name 'Sect43' which has been created to help the atmosphere at Easter Road and try bring new songs to the stands. This will be what we are working towards in the coming months.

We have a decent number interested and who are beginning to meet up pre match with us so gradually there is a base group forming. Hopefully it takes off big time when we go 'live' with the group in the next month and a bit. For now its about getting a main group together, speaking to people in the stands and getting to know each other.

We also have a bus running to motherwell away 35-40 folk so far who are booked on it. (December 3rd) Still a 10-15 seats available if anyones up for a singsong for 90minutes and leaving early to head to the pub for a singsong/get new songs going feel free to drop me a pm.

We are currently working on a 15ft telescopic flag, just a case of getting someone with the ability to sow . We are trying to get a hold of another 15ft telescopic flag pole to make another one. We have 2 x 3 metre ones in which will be done asap. Have also got most things we need, with our members buying stuff by the week.

We are all pretty much out of funds and we need materials for making flags, currently we want to make around 15-20 flags that we can take to away games and use at most home. We also need to purchase some acrylic paint.

Cost is around a 2-3 quid per metre, We need about 40metres. So fellow hibbies i was wondering if any of use could spare one or 2 pound each towards our cause.

If you have any idea's for future displays please don't keep them to yourself get them out and hopefully if its a cracking idea we can proceed to make it happen.

Our paypal is sect43@gmail.com , If you would like to donate in person to myself or one of the other group members please feel free to do so.

You need to get a more imaginative moniker, surely you can do better than Section 43. If you have an exciting name, more people will be tempted to join, purely on the basis that they'll say to themselves 'The Emerald Anarchist Wife-Swapping Porn Merchants of Acid' should be a fun crowd with some interesting chants.

The flags sound a great idea, always thought it makes a crowd look more passionate and intimidating in some kind of way. Happy to donate to your funds but would prefer to give you the cash personally. Where do you drink before/after the home games?

I thought I recognized your set of car keys in the fruit bowl. There was a lot of green reverberation in the walls, so I couldn't be sure.

To explain where the Group have sprung from:-

Hibs12thMan = Activists - Mostly 30-50 from wider support, experienced at setting up infrastructure, planning ahead, partnership with club, most work carried out non-matchday

Sect43 = Activists - mostly young Hibbies 14-21, flag makers, song writers, noisier radges on a matchday, plan marches and displays

Singing Section = area of ground where people including all of the above meet on a Saturday. The top 2 groups overlap to make stuff happen. The others join in on matchdays

We need Hibbies to jon in - a mix of auld heids and youthful energy.
