Even though we were put out that to this day remains my favourite Hibs game; it'll take some beating!

IIRC it was the first time I'd experienced the East and West both doing the Hibees Bounce simultaneously - after our second goal went in. Maybe I'd witnessed it before but my ST was in the FF lower and it wasn't exactly the most lively place to sit in ER. :

I was in the West, quite near the AEK support that night.

I was in the FFstand upper tier and it was the best atmosphere I can ever remember at ER.

My fave Hibs game was the league cup Final v Killie but this is my favourite game at ER with the 6-2 game a close 2nd.

Unbelievable seeing Ian's pace in that first clip, beating his man giving away a two yard start.

yep despite the outcome that has to be the best all round atmosphere for a game at ER, will never forget it.

Paco!! Was in the front row of the North Upper when he could've put us through.

Just shows what a football team is capable of when they are given the backing and support of the fans eh?

That was in response to some Greeks setting fire to an American flag. Don't see how it was ridiculous! Thousands innocents were murdered including British but they choose to burn a flag in support of terrorists. Hibs fans showed support to a nation that has stood along side us in many a conflict and out of respect for the victims.

The atmosphere that night will never be repeated absolutely awesome

Best atmosphere I've ever experienced at ER in my whole life - think the place would've collapsed had Luna completed his hat trick and put us through.

The 6-2 game just beats this for me, what a team we had then, how much could we do with finding another Ulrik Laursen?

The atmosphere was electric that night and the boys on the park deserved better that what we got.

One of my fav times at Easter Road although spending £450+ to go to Athens for a night with no game on the 12th September kinda overshadowed it.

I was the exact same, and the cheeky *******s wanting the tickets for the game back, on the flight home didn't impress me either.

I was in the East as usual for a game that sums up the highs and lows of being a footy fan and maybe even being a Hibee. How we could perform to that level, yet still be rotten in the league at the same time will always be a mystery. Sure that you could make a Sliding Doors film based on Luna scoring rather than missing.

    Fantastic night, great atmosphere!

Remember Sauzee booting the dugout in frustration at being taken off; him and John O'Neil were top drawer that night, both could hardly walk by the time they were subbed.

If only Luna had scored with THAT header!

Just a privilege to say i was their.

Never forget that night, The East was absolutely rocking that night, IF Luna had put that header away Easter rd would have caved in, Of that i have no doubt.

Cant believe it was 10 years ago, Ian Murray was simply outstanding that night as were the whole team.
