A Hibs legend and a wonderful ambassador for HIbs off the park - as he displayed a few years ago in OZ when we were honouredtot have him as our guest.
Still remember his 19th birthday when he put two in against the Hearts at Tyencastle where we raced to an early four nil lead.
Jimmy drove straight down to Blackpool after that game..bandaged head and all, for a weekend with his mates!.
Those were the Days!
If anybody bumps into him, tell him happy birthday from me....
And how I wish we had someone like him in the side just now...

I met Jimmy a couple of years ago and he was great. 'Just a guy' who is a legend.
I stopped short of doing a in front of him but it was close.

In these days when "legend" status is accorded to tripe it is good to recall a player who always gave his all. I still remember the despair and anger I felt I felt when Hibs dumped him.
Happy Birthday Jimmy.

Have heard he drinks in the Silver Wing at Sighthill. Maybe a crowd of Hibbies could pop in and buy him a drink?
