I wont be there tomorrow for reasons discussed to death over the last few weeks but this thread is disrespectful in the extreme. Why cant we just let the folk that are behind it and supporting it get on with it? This really is classless.

This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show QuoteLife should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

only on .net could this thread be perceived as an insult to the organisers of the testimonial.

This is like the yamish jealousy I am expecting to see from our poor neighbours over the other side of the town at the celebrations that are going on down easter road this weekend.
Get a life OP, keep your pencil.

It's just a guess the attendance thread, like there is for every other game. Exactly how is that disrespectful to anybody?

It's not "just a guess the attendance thread as normal" it's a P*** take and this is reflected by the offer of a pencil as a prize.

I can't really get excited about the content of this thread to be honest.
The OP's clearly titled the thread along the lines of what the admins title other threads for "guess the attendance" and instead of winning a month's private membership or a voucher for the Hibs shop, the OP has offered a pencil as a prize.
I think it's been done in quite good humour to be honest and I don't see how Ian Murray would be offended in the slightest by this thread.
Maybe it's just me but it would take a bit more than a thread on an internet forum to get me upset and offended.

If 15,000 turn up tomorrow, will this thread still be disrespectful? Or is it the prize that makes it disrespectful? I'm struggling to work out how anyone, bar the odd Daily Mail reader, could be upset at what is clearly intended to be a light-hearted thread.
If I ask whether the pies will be hot tomorrow or not (let's be honest, it's usually a lottery at run-of-the-mill league games), is that disrespectful?
