I remember when I was a nipper, i was living the dream by going on the park at half time and taking part in the Hibs Kids skills competition. I'd won the chance at the open day earlier in the season.
Anyway, Hibs did everything they could to make day as crap as possible. Turn up early doors to the stadium, go sit at the pitch and watch the grass grow for about an hour and a half, we might have got a juice but I cant remember, were given crap seats right behind the dug out, about 5 minutes before half time we got taken upstairs and got changed in a cupboard (seriously!), did our stuff on the pitch at half time which was good, then got taken back to the cupboard, got changed then basically got told we can sit where we were in the first half or we can piss off up to the Hibs Kids end and sit with our folks! What an absolute humpty day it was! We were given nothing! No programme, no tour, didnt meet any players, didnt even get good seats for the game, didnt even get a pie!!
To be honest with you, my experiences of Hibs are that they are all Take and no Give!!!

I'm sure sunday will be brilliant. Especially as he's actually getting out onto the pitch and mixing it up with these guys! I just hope he gets to change with the guys in the changing room and isn't shoved in a random cupboard somewhere!!

My son was a mascot a wee while back and while it obviously wasn't the HT shootout as per your example, all the kids (and parents) were well looked after, given tours, photo opportunities, a program and great seats from which to watch the game.
