A few derby videos from Sunday..

Here are some of the clips i managed to get with my phone on Sunday. The support we gave on Sunday was top notch IMO, it's just a pity that the boys could'nt repay us for once on the park..

Have to disagree about the support on Sunday.

Would've been nice to have at least one song that didnt involve something about paedos.

I have to agree with above. Atmosphere in the pub (Murray field hotel) was brilliant with loads of songs getting sung then got to the ground just in time for KO (stupid idea to sneak that 1 extra pint in) and all we sung was about paedos.

I know they have a track record but lets get behind the team by singing about Hibs rather than about players / managers that no longer play for that club.

i noticed a comment on this first video relating to the late Eric schaedler, it takes a special kind of sick twisted individual to have thoughts like that

There was one at the first derby of last season. Some hearts fans set off a green smoke flare I guess they don't make flares the colour of a bloody turd.

Flares only serve to get the club fined. Idiotic to take them to games.

Exactly, just because the flare was green doesn't make it ok to set it off. We , as a support, [on the whole], condemn such stupidity when it is them that set them off but applaude it when it is Hibs supporters that do likewise, double standards or what. It is wrong , no matter who does it or what colour they are. Lets leave this sort of nonsence to those moronic r-soles from the dark side.

What happened in the giant ball challenge with the players getting involved? I couldn't really tell from the clip.

So the Hibs fan was in the white ball and the Hearts fan was in the red. They had to get from one side to the other, first one there wins. Half way through, the Jambo muppet trips up inside his ball and thumbles inside while doing somersaults, the Hibs fan then stretches way infront. Victor Paalsson realises that the Hibs fan is gonna win the challenge and waves his hand over to the rest of the subs and shouts something along the lines of lets jump on top of him when he gets out. So the Hibs fan gets out the ball and is mobbed by our subs jumping all about him. Then the Hibee does a very creditable celebrational front slide infront of all us Hibs fans, gets up, turns to the neds in the asbestos ridden hut and gives them all the 'get it up ye' sign, then he makes his way back over to the balls and stands infront of them with his arms raised again looking at the Hearts fans, by which point all the wee ned's are raging at him and rushing to the front of the stand. He walks back towards the Hibs fans, again arms raised, then one last time looks to the Hearts fans and gives them a chest pump. All in all he gains legendy status for noising up the Hearts fans and giving us some good half time entertainment.

    Job done.

Best bit of the game by far. And about as close as our subs (and fans!) were getting to celebrating anything!
