    I guessed the numbers but done the pictures. I just couldn't see any sort of pattern at all in the numbers.

    140... bow down to your new leader.

    Have to admit though, the last sequence of numbers was a total guess.

    The last numbers are multiples of (position number in the sequence)x(next odd number added to the previously used multiple)

    so 1 8 27 ?? 125 216 = 1x1 2x4 3x9 4x?? 5x25 6x36

    1 is the 1st odd number (added to the previous 0 gives 1, hence 1x1=1)
    3 is the 2nd odd number (added to the previous 1 gives 4, hence 2x4=8)
    5 is the 3rd odd number (added to the previous 4 gives 9, hence 3x9=27)
    7 is the 4th odd number (added to the previous 9 gives 16, hence 4x16=64 which is the answer to the question)
    9 is the 5th odd number (added to the previous 16 give 25, hence 5x25=125)
    11 is the 6th odd number (added to the previous 25 gives 36, hence 6x36=216)

    ah thank you!

    Erm ,i get that its 1 cubed, 2 cubed, etc, etc - so the answer was 64

    1x1x1 = 1
    2x2x2x = 8
    3x3x3 = 27
    4x4x4 = 64
    5x5x5 = 125
    6x6x6 = 216

    Of course it is!

    My way is way more convuluted (sp?) in comparison.........or rather it describes the sequence in a more complex (and completely unnecessary) way!

    I'm amazed that I came to my solution before coming to the simple 'cubed' method- took me way longer

    135 only 2 less than when I was in 3rd year at school.

    135. Looks like we're a forum full of geniuses then (or this IQ test is a slightly unreliable judge of intelligence).

    104.

    Hardly understood any of that, although I'm not sure if I should be admitting that or not!

    That's tragic news for me. Almost all of my life I've regarded 7 0 as a good score, and now I'll have to completely rethink.

    There's no time limit and you can "Google" the answers of some of the questions.

    I was understating slightly. .

    These tests are generally designed with an ulterior motive. Usually it's an attempt to get you to sign-up to a paid 'exclusive high IQ society' - which everyone qualifies for, strangely.

    This test will deliver a more accurate result than the OP's did, but it's still quite far off probably - http://onemansblog.com/wp-content/up.../11/iqtest.swf

    Not another one who answered "Male" or "Female" incorrectly and got their date of birth wrong.
