Could this have not gone on the other non important other games updates? Ok I'll play the game 6-0 Madrid.

Guardiolas pre match comments included the line 'No excuses, it's a final!'

    2-1 Barca.

I don't know why, I thought this was next week!

    Excellent!

Killie vs Hibs, Stoke vs Chelsea, West Brom vs Man Utd, USPGA Golf, Real vs Barca, Minnesota vs Cleveland (MLB) and NY Mets vs Arizona (MLB).

    Great day of sport!

Anyone know what the music is in the start of this programme? It's lovely!

Edit: Ah, it's Rodrigo Y Gabriela - not quite sure which track, but I recognised them when it showed them.

Real Madrid appear to have their strongest 11 - doesn't look like the case with Barca.

Having said that, Barcelona still look strong.

Think (from the quick glance) that Puyol, Xavi, Busquets and Pique are all missing though.

Interesting that Scott Minto is presenting. Have Sky got rid of that ever so slightly irritating last bloke who did La Liga I wonder out loud?

Very VERY impressed by Real Madrid. They're pressing the ball so well - Barcelona aren't getting a chance to get the ball down and play football.

Messi's hardly touched the ball thus far. Barca are missing 3 or 4 players, but no excuses - Real Madrid are playing some brilliant football.

Karim Benzema looks like a man on a mission! Fit, strong and very determined.

He left at the end of last season: http://tvsportsnews.blogspot.com/201...ky-sports.html

I thought he was a really good presenter actually - very knowledgeably, evidently had a love for the league. Quite surprised he never presented any of the other Sports programmes actually.

Slightly fortuitous bounce, but what strength and determination from Messi to keep going and slot it home.

There's the difference between these clubs. Barcelona are so clinical. 2 efforts, 2 on target, 2 goals.

    Interesting, thanks for that.

I only found him to be as knowledgable as his autocue allowed him to be. As far as other Sky programmes go I remember him standing in on one Soccer AM and he was godawful.

Used to like the fellah Matthew Lorenzo on the old Goals on Sunday format on a Sunday evening. Would welcome him back. Gerry Armstrong is sound too. And ol'Guiillemme is worth his slot -definitely in front of that other smug mealy mouthed weedgie that Sky roll out to discuss La Liga.

Scott Minto is always pretty eloquent - wonder if this is a step into full time presenting?

PS -'course none of this has much to do with the game currently being discussed, so apologies for the sort of hijack as Messi p1shes on 'em again!

Strength of messi is quite amazing considering his size, don't think there has ever been such a technically gifted player, for a long time

Over all a great game of fitba for a friendly. The ref was terrible pepe should have been sent off both clubs should had spot kicks and once again Jose blames Barca for diving. What a lot of crap his players had 26 fouls and he says that? Well we got the 2 away goals and Real who payed millions for
players still can't beat us. The cup stays n Barca VAMOS BARCA !!

Calgary i think you will find barca have spent a fair few million on players themselves in the last few years, barca always seem to be acknowledged with having loads of guys come through the ranks when its really not the case

And they got the highest wage bill in WORLD sport. Cracks me up the way people bang on about Barca being this and that and then have a go at Real.
