There may be a few songs to tease the Celtic fans on Sunday - tongue in cheek as usual
Other than that we WILL be singing :cgwa
We will be singing SOL and other Hibs favourites
No rubbish
What we won't be singing are
Around mid-season the Singing Section were earning themselves a very good name for supporting the team. Visting fans (ICT, Rangers and St Mirren among them) were praising us up on their messageboards. Colin Calderwood, the players and even Scott Lindsay were giving all you singers big props. Your efforts were also appreciated by your fellow Hibbies.
- Songs about Hearts at non-Hearts games
- Songs about dead people 16inch c***ks and Mrs wotsits f**ny
We kind of lost our way in the new year with some childish songs and the incessant references to Hearts at non-Hearts games. The feedback we've had this close season is that Hibs Supporters simply want to hear the Hibs songs - the ones that support our Boys in Green. Of course there's always room in ninety minutes for a few songs to wind up the opposition
So - to our friends in the East Stand - Hibs12thMan says let's go back to basics and do what we did so well in the winter. By ditching the silly nonsense we will aim to build up the size and capability of the Singing Section over the course of 2011/2012 and give the team the full on, in yer face, loud and long backing we all know we Hibbies are capable of.
Glory! Glory!

All sounds good to me. I reckon if you stick to that plan you'll get a great response from the rest of the fans.
Be good to really get a noisy Hibs support this season and it would actually be good to hear a good selection of Hibs songs- especially ones that don't get much of an airing these days. Good luck to all concerned.

Glad to hear it. I was getting especially sick of hearing anti-Hearts songs at St Mirren vs Hibs and similar games.
Keep up the good work guys!

Does that mean we can't sing '...we hate jamtarts and we hate dundee...'? But na seriously, I take it this is more in reference to the Mercer and Skacel songs which is definitely a good thing to get rid of for non-hearts games especially. Keep up the good work!

I'm getting sick of hearing the mercer song and the stupid shouts of he's deid. But I do like when we sing Stand up if you hate jam tarts and if you hate the f'ing jambos clap your hands. Suppose we could just change the words to celtic.

Are there any old Hibby favourites you would like to hear the choir belt out on Sunday?
