Im sure its most Kenyan boys' dream when growing up in poverty to put on those famous hoops...
And "After reading the club's incredible history I have chosen 67 as my squad number to show appreciation to the 1967 squad." Yet another gimmmick like Hooper's 88, which the Bhoys will without a doubt lap up and claim he is one of their own, ignoring that they cant produce their own players, or the palyers they bring in dont really understand what the club stands for.

No doubt Rangers will counter this with being up to their knees in Kenyan blood?

Everyone's against them, they get no 50/50 decisions from refs, even refs with Celtic tendencies go against them because the refs are afraid of the Rangers biased SFA
That's just 3 of the lines I have been given by a couple of their supporters

And I suppose Palsson wearing 91 last season just happened to be because it was his birth year?
Everyone knows it was to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Hibs winning the Skol cup...They've only gone and done it! They've only gone and won the Scottish Cup! What kept you, Hibs?!

Smart way to get accepted in new country / culture
woud we not smile should a new recruit have claimed to read up on club and would love to see us play in the style of the Famous 5....

I think rod is missing a trick here.
Our next 2 signings should be given the numbers 70 and 62.
They'd go like hotcakes.

I must be old fashioned but I preferred the 1 - 11 numbering system.
We should go back to that IMO.
Incidentally Lennon may be interested in signing Craig Gordon, if he can afford his wages.

And what about Deeks and the 01?
So they've signed some bloke from Kenya, so what. Did we not try and make a big thing of Sol Bamba when he was named in the Ivory coast's world cup squad. Do you think the like of Bamba, Zemmama, De la Cruz, Latapy or Jimmy Boco crew up wanting to play for Hibs. Of course not. They wanted to make the cash and play in Europe. The bloke said he wanted to sign for a big team, and weather we like it or not they are a big team.
