Pre season already. Why is the season starting so early? Sure its been done but I have not seen real reason.

Avoids them having to play scheduled midweek games during the winter, which leaves more room for postponed games to be rescheduled. It also means the first few games get a bit more media attention due to the lack of much other major sport going on in late July / early August. Open golf and Wimbledon are finished by then, English leagues don't start until mid August.

I like this thread. It is nice and easy going. Not too much interest in it which means it is well grounded in reality. Not like some of of the other threats that a barking crazy. A nice innocent question about training and a few well informed responses. Why cant more threads be like this one?

Anyway, I've heard that Hibs have booked a training camp on Pluto.

Have you pics to prove it. I thought it was more likely to be Uranus!

I believe the players and management are going to Peebles training for 5 days, seems like CC has a good training programme in mind for the players, and hopefully come July 23rd, we will be raring to go, and fly out the traps......

Watch out. You may get trampled by people rushing to say that would stop me talking out of it.

I have a photograph of them all turning up at East Mains this morning - at least it kinda LOOKS like the Hibs players, and it very well MIGHT be East Mains, and the guy in charge looks NOT DISSIMILAR to CC.

And I THINK I took it this morning, but then again maybe not....

Sorry I can't post it up - I've sold it to the Nottingham Post.

I just can't wait to take in a Hibs match again as it seems like an eternity since our home defeat to Aberdeen.....

Its strange you can't wait for the season to end, then it does, and you can't wait for it to start again

New season = Fresh hope........ It's only a question of how long into the season, we realize, uh oh, we're in for a long one.........

Fingers crossed this one will turn out to be a really good yin and we'll have a side to be proud of and look forward to watching....... The thread about 2004 footage, really reminded me how great it is when a side is exciting to watch and clicks..... And with more signings to follow, of which I trust CC's judgement, on top of the 3 faces already in the door.......things already look brighter....... Bring on the Celtc

Having looked at the fotties was pleased to see that Gary O is not in the shape [fat] quite a few posters a few days ago said he was. Looks lean / mean.
