Gasquet really had to win the 1st set to have any chance, After Murray won it you sensed that Gasqeut was finished, His body language was all wrong.

Very impressed with Murray so far at Wimbledon, He really does posses all the shots, Back hand is lethal, Fore hand is sensationsal, Slice drop shot, You name it Andy Murray has it in spades.

I know he was half joking when he said he wishes it thunders later on and rains, But Murray like me and many other would love it to Rain later, Make Nadal ( His potential semi final opponent) Have to play say 2 matches staggered over 2 or 3 days Whilst Andy continues to make opponents look Ridiculously stupid.

Ultra impressed with Murray. Keep it up son
I've got to say i think he has only just been getting the job done up until the end of set 1 today then stepped it up a bit. Hope i'm wrong 'cos i'm desperate to see him win a Major, but, if he gets further than his seeding suggests i'll be equally surprised and delighted!

Nadals girlfriend/ wife is very beautiful, unquestionably. But youd have thought she'd have taught him not to pick the crack out of his erse at every second serve. Id make sure he washed them with soap and hot water before I shook his hand.

Nadal away for an MRI scan on his foot. Apparently 'worried' about it.

Sharapova is absolutely schooling Cibulkova just now.

It's not been anywhere near as entertaining as the Lisicki game from earlier today.

Do like Sharapova but the screaming noises that come from her are cringeworthy imo.

Bartoli earlier against Lisicki was superb to take the 2nd set in a tie break after saving 3 match points but she simply had nothing left in the tank for the final set.

    Mon Murray the morra!

God help us if Sharapova meets Azerenka in the final.

Personally I think all this grunting and funny noise making should be banned. It's annoying for us as spectators and must get to the opposition. It just appears to be the trend nowadays. Funnily enough you rarely see it in the mens game.

Possibly tired out by the extra match she was playing in her own wee world all through the time she was on court playing a real match against Lisicki. Bartoli seems a bit bonkers.

Robson needs to lose a bit of weight I'd say. She plods around a bit. Gives it a good belt though.
Need a good belt if you're a fat*******.

Think the gentlemen's semifinals - or possibly ladies' and gentlemen's - are being shown in 3D tellybox. Anyone know where that's available in Edinburgh?

She really does, I was thinking just that when I was watching it.

Certainly seems to have some kind of hyperactivity disorder or something.

Strange that we haven't heard from FalkirkHibee especially on a tennis thread and one that he started.

Hope he's okay - Maybe he's on his hols? Anybody know

Djokovic struggling in the second set to the new Australian No.1 Tomic. Djokovic took the first set but it looks like the second set will even the match up.

Could there be a shock result in store?

    Edit: One set each.

After the Federer v Tsonga match which is currently 2-0 to Federer. Could be anywhere between 1-3 hours although if I was a betting man I would say it would be about an hour.

Edit: Tsonga up 3-1 in third set. RF to serve.

Doubles matches - Why do the players find the need to give each other a wee touch on the hand everytime they win a point? I've even seen them doing it when they lose the point. Looks a bit camp when it's the mens doubles.

Does anyone else think Federer is deeply annoying and a bit of a ponce? Im guessing I might be in the minority here but im probably a bit of a xenophobe about the Swiss, they annoy me. There, ive said it. Im a big racist.

Tsonga coming back into it nicely.

Great stuff from Tsonga. Murray must have a real chance this year if he plays to his best.

Let the 'Federer is finished' talk begin. Very surprising considering he was coming from his finest French Open in terms of performance.

If Murray continues playing everything to Lopez's b-hand this should be over very quickly.

Brilliant again from Murray, I really hope he aint injured or ruptured something tho..Was clearly wincing with pain for a good 20 minute after the initial incident.

Straight forward match as was his 4th round match whilst Nadal dropped a set in both matches and has played way more game time than Andy.

Go Andy, Take the Spaniard in the semis!
