Anyone know when they are actually due up before the SFA/SPL for their supporters assault on Neil Lennon as well?

I think that is something like seven years in a row they have been fined for their disciplinary record.

BBC are reporting that Hearts are appealing. Not to me they aren't.

They've got some cheek appealing, they should be told 100k and no appeal in view of they're shocking record in recent years.

2 points from me
1) I don't really think it's fair fining clubs for poor discipline over the course of a season (I don't agree with cumulative suspensions for players either) - if a crime is bad enough it should be punished, but lots of 'normal' yellow/reds shouldn't result in a fine. Obviously since it's Hearts I'll make an exception... which leads nicely into the next point...
2) Surely if the SFA are to go down the route of fining clubs at the end of the season Hearts should be more severely censured for meriting a fine 7 years in a row. We know how rich Hearts are given all the interest they are collecting from themselves so these fines should surely be in the millions.

Hearts obviously aren't, and obviously aren't even trying to reign it in. Hammer them

It seems a bit strange that they should be fined when they actually improved their disciplinary record, compared with last year and they only got two more red cards last season than Inverness and they got praised for their players' conduct.
Apart from that, I completely agree with the decision.

It was around £300 for an ST for the PBS next year for those first to book. Must be galling for the first 333 most Gorgie Loyal who bought their's on the first day to now learn that their investment is going straight to the SFA.

Its easy to be top of a table when the two weejie teams have no chance of winning it.
How many times against the ugly sisters do you hear folk say "if our player had done that he would have been booked/sent off"? Deliberate handball in Scottish Cup Final, a game changing moment, is a prime example.
Hate to sympathise with the Hertz but I know which two teams are the dirtiest most cheating barstewards in Scotland, and they wont ever ever get fined or points docked.

Hearts finances confuse me. As they only ever owe money to themselves, does this mean that a) the don't need to pay the football authorities this hundred grand, b) that they 'are' the football authorities (they've somehow swallowed them up) c) that this £100,000 is a different type of money from the £40m debt they are carrying?
