If true would be happy with the second 2, not sure about the young guys on loan though. Never heard of the striker and doesnt Cairney get a game for Hull?

Newcastle United
Hibs are eyeing Newcastle United striker Phil Airey.
The teen is well known to Hibs boss Colin Calderwood, who worked with Airey at Newcastle.
Airey made his first team debut earlier this season.
The Evening Chronicle says Hibs may seek a loan deal for the striker nearer the end of the January market.

Tom cairney would be a great signing, although I was under the impression he was a first team player at hull. Scotland u21 international as well

Is Airey not the young lad CC was after in january but then got injured, hence why Sodje was signed.

I hope we are not going down the loans and short term deals route, we need to bring in some folk on longer term deals, if they dont want to commit or we dont think warrent longer, walk away.
There is room for some players whom we would be able to sign normally so a loan is fine but we need stabilty not to be rebuilding again in 12mths.
