Anyone still advocating summer football?
What a day it has been today, strong strong winds with heavy local showers.
Typically June & July can be wet months with torrential downpours (remember the Intertoto game a few years ago).
When it is not too wet, we then have to deal with hard, bouncy pitches that is not suited to the Scottish player.
What are your thoughts on summer football?

Summer Footy can't come fast enough. Wind like this unusaual in May June, every weekend in the winter.

With all the talk of reconstruction you would have thought summer football would also be on the agenda. Unfortunately the people running our game are not nearly bold enough to consider it seriously. An opportunity missed IMHO.
