Fletch turned his back on Scotland, via text FFS.

Acted like a petulant child in this one, as much as I'm not a potter fan.

Fletch DID NOT turn his back on Scotland, nor did he turn his back on Levien. Fletcher's club, who pay him substantial sums of money to be available, had a big round of games coming up at a time when relegation was beginning to become a real threat.

He pulled out of a meaningless friendly to fulfill his duties to his employer. This is not ANYTHING like the Kris Boyd scenario that the Record tried to make it to be.

This. Asked to be left out of one game only. Now got double figures in two seasons in the best league in the world both with teams who were relegation fodder. Thats some feat and when you consider how little games he has started for wolves its a great record.

    Yet he's not good enough

Levein called Fletcher into squads but was never going to use him as Levein's formation and tactics don't suit a player like Fletcher.

Doesn't matter whether you think Levein was in the wrong or Fletcher was in the wrong, he wouldn't get a game for Scotland under Levein anyway.
