Vote Riordan for Goal of the Season

Can't post the link cause I'm at school but someone else could? It's on the Sky Sports website.

    He's on 7% the now(more than Templeton)

Do your part and vote for him!

    Sitting at 8% now.

Looks like Chris Maguire will clinch it quite easily though...

    ...and quite rightly so.

Same here, most incredible goal I've seen at ER i think, sadly.

But still got to back Deeks!

Unfortunately Der Hun have massed their fans to vote for Jelovic.

Maguire has to win it. Also thought that the Ayr United and yes, Templeton's goals were good as well. Jelovic is a poor mans overhead kick compared to the Ayr United goal.

It doesn't matter if we vote or not as other teams fans will just pile on voting.

You'll be too young to remember Chic Charnley's lob from about 45 yards against Alloa in the cup? Pity!

Great game. Ended 3-0 did it not? He also scored a similar beauty against Dundee Utd against our fans favourite Dykstra (sp) If i remember correctly.

Now on 11% in third place. Jelavic is on 33% though
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Pat Mcginlay followed suit a week later.

    1. Ki Sung-Yong - The lad just hit it as hard as he could and hoped for the best

    2. Paddy McCourt - As Alan Hansen would say, "terrible defending"

    3. DEREK RIORDAN - A TOUCH OF CLASS REMINISCENT OF GLEN HODDLE

    4. Chris Maguire - No bad for a blooter up the park, wooooooffffff

    5. David Templeton - The fact that none of our players actually tried to tackle him rules this one out

    6. Andy Rodgers - He'd probably tried that 10 times already in that match, this was the one that came off

    7. Johnny Hayes - Toe punt

    8. Ryan Jack - Keeper was unsighted

    9. Jamie Ness - Total hit and hope

    10. Kris Commons - Decent strike but had the unfair advantage of having just played at a higher level with Derby

    11. David Goodwille - Keeper!!!!!

    12. Nikica Jelavic - Foul on the defender

Hmm, it's a close call. I wouldn't want to be biased.

That was the first game I took my stepson to. I remember him asking if that happened all the time. I felt a little bit guilty when I said yes!

His next game was a few years later (we did live down south) and happened to be the AEK game. So I wasn't totally telling lies!

Why? From a neutral, objective perspective there are several goals better than his?

I, loyally, voted for Riordan, but now I feel embarrassed because his goal was nowhere near the best.

Which goal is it he is up for? Can't view it atm as I'm on my phone? Was it the lob at Celtic park or was that last season ?
