    *** Monday Night Live ***

Sergey and me have made it to Aveley v Lowestoft. Pitch looks wider than ICT's. Forbes dropped to the bench

1-0 to Lowestoft. Frew. Cross from right, tap in. Poor defending.

Playing at right back it seems, interesting to see how he does there.

Game in a bit of a rut. Both looking forward to the HT pint. Aveley keeper makes Maka look world class.

He's not the paciest and is playing against a real flying machine in Delfounso, but he has done ok so far and has played some decent long passes.
England have had the better of things, but it's 1-1 at HT and there are more goals in this.

Missed pen for 4-0. Lino flagged as keeper off the line, he then takes down the flag and refuses to tell the ref.

Iceland U 21s now 2 - 1 up. Victor had a sound game at Right back - just been subbed. Glad he's now off the pitch unscathed!

Good game and 3 cracking goals. Lowestoft have a lad on loan from Colchester, Corcoran, who looks a classy player.

Nice wee ground and amiable hosts.

Iceland's first ever win in an away friendly match, apparently.

They have a very good squad and should reach the semi final of the uefa U-21 championship in the summer. Once there, they will have as good a chance as anyone to win the tournament.

Yip. Maybe our long term development programme in Scotland isn't too shabby after all. Clear progress at youth, U21 levels and starting to see this slowly ebbing its way into full squad. Shame about the coach and tactics.

Yep thought they looked really good and obviously have strong squad looking at the guys coming on. Funny the commentators mentioning England had a load of changes then added Iceland also have 6 or 7 missing which probably to a pool of players as small as Iceland's has more effect. Iceland's movement and pace from midfield forward was very impressive.
