    Roy Carroll.

    Just failed in a trial with Sheffield united, with our goalkeeping problems coming to the fore again, would he be worth a punt if we could afford him?

    The Sheffield United defence just now can't keep a clean sheet between them. If Carroll isn't good enough to remedy that, he isn't good enough for us.
