I'm expecting the same team that started against ICT. Murray is back however I can't see who would drop out to make way as everyone played pretty well last game.

Fingers crossed the goalie rotation is over as Stack has been superb since he came back - not only with his saves however also the influence he has on the back 4 and the confidence he gives them.

Reading CC's interviews sounds like he may try and hit them on the break and as always first goal is vital. If we can get it I can see us scoring a couple more as they go for broke. Hamilton 0 - 2 Hibs (Miller & Riordan)

I wouldnt change anything tbh, its a winning team, is there any reason to bring anyone else in (other than injuries but dont think theres any)? Murray and Vaz Te give us a very strong bench which is good.

Think we need to be careful as its a game that Hibs being Hibs, we could slip up in, but 3 points would be massive, and would take us up to 8th at least until tomorrow.

I think Thornhill and Murray will come in for Miller and Scott. Vaz Te will come on in the second half

I wouldn't drop Scott, his work-rate and strength will be needed in what will be a mid-field battle.

A relegation battle at Hamilton on a Tuesday winters night was made for Scott in the same way a CL final is made for Messi. To drop either from such an event would be an unpardonable folly.

    This is Hibs.

Given how much Stack & Booth are being talked up i would expect an Arsenal like defensive mix up gifting Hamilton a goal*

Just like to get expectations a bit lower.
Difficult away game - like others i think there is more steel about this team but lets not get too carried away.

The players that CC has brought in must be considered first-choice potential in his 'best team'. Might we get close to seeing the following team on the park at some stage tonight?

    Divis
    Towell Dickoh Hanlon Booth
    Scott Thornhill Palsson Murray
    VazTe Sodje

I would hate to change the defence so if any changes are too be made I reckon we might see:

    Stack

    Towell Dickoh Hanlon Booth

    Spoony Palsson Scott Murray

    Vaz Te (preferably deek) Sodge

The omens are not good for me. I had to walk under a ladder today. Plus the top I have worn at the last 4 games is still not dry. Its no coincidence that we have won while I have been wearing this top.

    Mint green tonight

Hope we keep the same team that started on Saturday. Why change a winning team?

I dont buy into it being a 4-4-2 with Deek up front and Scott on the left.

I see it more as a 4-3-3, with two holding midfielders:

    _____________Stack
    Towell___Dickoh_____Hanlon___Booth

    __________Palsson____Scott
    ______________Miller
    Wotherspoon_______________Riordan
    ______________Sodje

We could bamboozle the opponents who expect us to play the same winning team as every week!

If CC was to make any changes to the starting line up, I would remove David Wotherspoon.

He was way below par on Saturday and his distribution has been substandard for some time now. (Tin hat is well and truly on)
I have high hopes for him, but he is not as good as some would have you believe.

Murray for Wotherspoon would be the obvious one if he did want to make changes with Miller moving over to the right a bit.

He might be tempted to go with one up though and take Riordan out too with maybe Thornhill coming in.

    Stack

    Towell Dickoh Hanlon Booth

    Miller Thornhill Palsson Murray Scott

    Sodje

That team wouldn't be messed about!

Tend to agree as the vital thing for tonight is to keep the distance between us and Hamilton unlikely as it is that we will go down. Start with that team and bring any of Deek/Spoony/Vaz Te to suit depending on how it is going.

When Miller went off on Saturday it looks as if they were applying ice to his shin/ankle. I wonder if he might rest him and play Lewis who had a good little cameo when he came on.

I would say in terms of performance and results we are currently highbees, in the league...lowbees!

Yep, if there were to be any changes, then Wotherspoon would be the one to drop out. Good player, but really suffering just now and this point in the season is no time to be trying to play your way back into form.

A wee break might do him the world of good in the long run.

All the best to Hibs against Hamilton from your forum resident Paisley Buddie. Get intae' them!

... I'm a bit less confident following our miserable defeat at Killie, and the Accies picking up a point against the Arabs. Bottom line is my team are unlikely to go on a run of wins ourselves, so anyone but Hamilton for me.

Tonight Matthew, I'm going to be a Hibernian fan...

Good luck guys - hope your own good run of wins is extended!

No, I don't think we will. Replacing Stack who's in top form at the moment with Divis would quite frankly be idiocy.

Hopefully we start with the same 11 as we did on saturday.

Calderwood suggested in todays Evening News that changes would be made to keep things fresh as some players were showing signs of fatigue in training. He also said Stack is playing tonight, and is now in control of the gloves after his recent run of good form.

Calderwood says there will be some changes tonight.

    I'd expect to see

    Stack

    Towell Dickoh Hanlon Booth

    Scott Palsson Stevenson Thornhil

    Sodje Riordan

With a bench of Divis,Murray,Wotherspoon,Miller,Nish,Vaz Te and Rankin
