Think you didn't pick up on 'Goal of the Season' thread title tho

    Wayne Rooney
    Wayne Rooney
He goes by the name of Wayne Rooney

United took a massive step towards getting the title back today and that should put City's title ambitions to bed once and for all.

The only other challengers left are Arsenal so the match at the Emirates on 30th April should be a cracker, if United haven't already won the title by then that is.

Was a bit of a peach from Rooney, my first thoughts were the similarity to Hugo Sanchez.

Some other nice play as well in setting it up - Nani's positioning, giving himself plenty room to float the ball in and (I think) Scholes' pass to him to open up the opportunity.

    Lovely football
There's only one thing better than a Hibs calendar and that's two Hibs calendars

That was my first thought too. Rooney's was good but Zitelli's was better.

    Zitelli's was definitely better.

Can't stand Rooney but got to admit it was a stunning goal.

Sodje had a wonderful piece of play today where he hid a couple of keep uppies past the Killie defence and shot over by 2 yards or so. That would've been some goal!

No loss woody. There is only one goal on this thread worth watching anyway

    Yeah, that link works fine.

Tbh, I've seen the goal already and thought I'd give trolling a little try with the city comment.

Wonder how long this one will last

Personally I think Rooney's is the better strike.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"
