They should have got their knuckles wrapped. It's a PC storm in a tea cup. They shouldn't be cast up as poster boys but they needn't be continually castigated either.

I think you're right about the storm in a teacup. An apology on Sky would have sufficed. The furore hurt the woman in the case more than Keys/Gray.

I listen to Talksport quite a lot. Generally, it's tongue in cheek. Two presenters often take up opposite positions on some current topic and provoke argument.

Some of the humour is dry and amusing - notably Hawksbee and Jacobs. Danny Kelly is a genuinely clever and articulate man.

I like talk sport, they talk about football all day, its better than the local stations who all seem to have NOW 5694520 (or whatever number its on now) on random for weeks on end.

Mate, apart from Danny Kelly the DJ's are a bit tedious. Maybe when I was in my twenties I would of liked it but nowadays I find it crap and it's full of rent a gobs!

God bless the media. They got their headline and in the process probably ruined an innocent young girl's career as a referee. That's the tragedy.

I agree. It's a wind-up and most of their presenters are good at it. Parry was the ultimate. He played the buffoon and provoked the white van man's natural propensity to bully and jeer at the wee fat guy. I actually thought he was one of the bosses there. Maybe not.

I don't think Gray and Keys will fit in. It's clear they've just been taken on because of the current tabloid value. They don't know any more about football than most pundits and I can't see them doing the wind-up thing very well.

Talk Sport doesn't pretend to be anything other than a commercial station with a throwaway content. What I really hate about Five Live is the way they try to reach down to us footy types and be laddish. All their Greenys, Lauros and that specky Irish bloke can take a hike for my money - and it is my money come to think of it!

If my memory is right, Brazil and Gray were on sky when it first started, and Brazil was touting himself as the font of all knowledge as a football pundit. They were both up for the job with Keys, and Gray got it. Brazil was not happy and gave a newspaper article slating Gray. A few days later he was dumped from sky.
