Hamilton 11/10
St Mirren 9/4
Hibs 4/1
Wednesday's Game
Hibs Evens
St Mirren 3/1
Draw 13/5
So Hibs the same price to win as the they are not to win on Wednesday what would you bet Hibs or St Mirren and the Draw.
You would have to Lay Hibs
So i will probably bet them ( I am a mug punter)
Results 1 to 30 of 36

Bet 365 who had Hibs at 16/1, 14/1 and 4/1 over the last couple of weeks have now removed 'To finish bottom' in the SPL from their Anti post betting.

Say you stuck a tenner on all 3..
you would win £55 if we went down.. and £8 if hamilton went down.. obviously get your tenner back as well

Hibs are 5.5 - 1
Hamilton are 0.8 - 1
Therefore they are massively favourites to go down

Thank you both.
I don't bet so the only thing I understand is x/1 other than that it's all double dutch to me.

Think we've got a decent run of fixtures coming up so although it's extremely unlikely, i'm not so sure it's 80/1 unlikely though, i won't be stickong anything like £20 on it, couple of quid thats a decent bet.

I've a feeling Hibs could go either way in the next few weeks. Either do an Aberdeen and pull ourselves out of the danger zone or get dragged right back into a battle. The Hamilton games are massive.
Looking upwards Motherwell and ICT are starting to struggle, a few wins and you never know.

The website is now saying the bet is closed - has anyone successfully placed any cash on this?

I bet it. Not one I expect to win but I think 80/1 is a big price, also Extrabet double your stake for new customers on your 1st fixed odds bet up to a £25 stake so in effect the price is 160/1.

Thought 80/1 was a great price, so thought I would investigate - price for us to be relegated now 5/1, which seems a bit more realistic.
Just realised that the 80/1 was for the top 6 and not relegation - silly me!Last edited by hibees59; 09-02-2011 at 05:06 PM.

Obviously a few hibbies with too much money (me included) betting on us for top 6. The odds have dropped from 80's to 29's this week! Let's hope we all get rich

Not that I am a gambling man but, gutted that I didn't put a few pennies on us finishing in the top 6 ...
Odds are now only 8/1 .... Still good odds but from 80

Having faffed around while it was 80/1, I finally registered for the site when it was 50/1. However, Extrabet required me to provide ID before I could bet and 24 hours later when I had, the odds were down to 33/1!
Glad I didn't wait any longer!

Realistically we are going to need to win about 6 of our remaining 8 games before the split to finish top 6...or the same number of wins as we've achieved in the first 25 games. That's possible if we beat all the teams we should....but since when did Hibs do that? A more realistic scenario is that we fall short of that then win all five of our after-split games in a typically Hibernian too little too late run at the end of the season
