No, he's been released by Rangers after they failed to use him in a swap deal for Craig Conway of Dundee United. Despite his Hearts links he'd be such a sensible signing and a great partner for Hanlon at the back. Please Rod.

All in all not overly disappointed. All the signings up to last week were being slagged off, they did OK on Sunday and i expect we will see them improve. Another couple in this week so lets see how they do if they get a game tomorrow. Lots of activity in the last few hours so I guess it is not only Hibs who are scratching around looking for dross.
