A family member is buying a retirement flat in Edinburgh, and she asked me to give her a second opinion on the property. The place is on a renovated Victorian stair On New Skinners Close, nice flat, think she should buy it...Anyway, the point is, it overlooks St Patricks Church on South Grays Close, Father Hannon's parochial house in 1869 when he started up the sports club that gave birth to Hibernian FC. You can sit and have your breakfast with a view of where Hibs was bornI had a look at the history of the building and the old 'Little Ireland' area of the Cowgate, its absolutely fascinating.
Is this the ultimate Hibs address? Anyone got any alternatives?

How about this one. Bit far to travel to games but what an address.
Or maybe here, with a bit further travelling.
