(Zemmama, Jones, Murray, Riordan, Bamba, Stokes).

Really highlights the dross that has been coming in, to replace those of quality that have been leaving. If it had been something like 15 quality instead of 37 journeyman, we'd be in a much healthier position right now, for the same price.

Obviously no player is a gaurenteed success or not before signing, but is that not what scouting is for?

A frighteningly bad role call. One constant has been the quality of player leaving being far better than the one coming in. Sad stuff.

Regardless, this is sobering stuff - really striking how many players came in during 2007 and 2008. Relatively modest signing on fees here and there will help burn through £3m. Hibs have received very poor value for money.
