We have won 0 out of our last 9 games. If we get to the end of January and win 0 out of 12, the board have a decision to make.

Do we go into Feb with CC, where we have 4 games; St Mirren (h and a) Killie (h) and ICT (a) knowing that how we get on that month will almost certainly determine our SPL future, or do we get a new guy in to galvanise us for these games? Ironically, that's when CC's new Jan window signings -assuming any happen- will be expected to make an impact.

In March/April we have six pre-split games, including a home and away double header against Hamilton.

So I think if the board are going to do something, it has to be within the next couple of weeks.

Which makes the need for some impact signings even more pressing.
